Employers value the analytical skills that a math degree demonstrates, and a degree in mathematics from TCU will equip you to pursue almost any career, whether it be in finance, high tech, education or even law or medicine.

The 文学学士 is our more basic liberal arts degree, appropriate for students seeking careers in both mathematical and non-mathematical industries. 广管局也 prepares students to become elementary and secondary mathematics teachers. 学生 earning the BA have the option of applying for TCU’s Master of Business Administration (MBA) 程序 and the 数学系’ 教育学硕士 (MAT) 程序.

The 理学学士 is the more demanding of our two undergraduate majors. 这 degree is appropriate for students planning to go on to graduate school in mathematics and related fields, and for anyone seeking a more challenging mathematical experience 在TCU.

The Actuarial Science concentration is designed to prepare students for careers in insurance, risk analysis, pension management, financial planning and other related 区域. The actuarial concentration can be combined with either the 文学学士 (BA) or the 理学学士 (BS) in 数学.
